1:00pm - What the Bloodline Holds
Facing Ancestral Trauma and Rising into Embodied Power
Aisha Kimmey - Trauma-Informed Transformational Coach
Ancestral trauma lives in the body, not just the past. Many of us carry patterns of pain, survival, or responsibility that did not begin with us, yet shape how we move through the world. In this trauma-informed, body-based talk and workshop, we will explore how ancestral wounds are inherited through the nervous system and how healing happens through presence rather than force. We will discuss the silent traumas and chords that we may not know we carry and the large ones that we know are there and how to bring love back into them both. Through gentle awareness and somatic tools, participants are invited to meet pain with compassion and begin transforming what once kept them surviving into strength, clarity, and embodied power.
This work is not about fixing what is broken; it is about reclaiming what has always been powerful within you. I will guide participants to identify where ancestral and personal pain is held in their body and transform it into embodied strength. Using gentle somatic tools, reflective prompts and moving music, attendees will learn to release tension, reclaim resilience and carry their power with awareness and presence.
